Dear Parents/Guardians

Welcome back after the long and hot summer vacation. We hope you had a relaxing holiday and were able to spend some quality time as a family. We also hope that Ramadan was a time of spiritual peace and good will and that Eid al Fitr was celebrated with joy.

Please note the important notices listed below:

  1. School starts at 8:00 am sharp and we expect students to be in their classrooms by 7:55. Lateness will not be tolerated.
  2. All students must enter and leave the school grounds via the “Bus Drop Off” gate. Buses will park on the left-hand-side of the gate and cars on the right. Please walk with your child/children and ensure that they are safely inside the school premises.
  3. The “School Safety Processes” document is attached to this curricular for your information.
  4. Most parents will have already collected books and uniforms in readiness for the first day of school. Should you have any problems with either please contact Mrs Heba Dhurgam at 04 264 1595 Ext 153.

    • School skirt/culottes/shorts/long pants
    • School polo shirt
    • White socks and black shoes
    • Track suit jacket (if necessary)
    • School hat (for outdoor activities)
    • School ID card

    • T-shirt with house colours
    • White socks and trainers
    • Track suit jacket

    • School ID card

    We have a “no hat – no play” policy in our school to protect our children from the harsh sun and weather in the UAE. Please ensure that all clothing has been clearly labeled with your child’s name so that if lost it can be returned immediately. The school does not take responsibility for unmarked lost clothing.

  7. Please do not hesitate to make an appointment with senior or class teachers if you have any concern about your child's education. Appointments can be made via Mrs Mara Frias-Advincular at 04 264 1595 Ext 104.
  8. Please diarize the 2 October 2010. All parents are expected to attend our "Orientation Day". This will be an opportunity for you to fully understand what learning experiences your child will be encountering this year, and also give you a chance to ask questions. You can use this opportunity to meet Dr Nicklas Dahlström who is the Parent Representative on the Deira Private School Board of Governors. A parent's involvement in their child/children's school life is vital if the child is to grow up healthy, happy and successful. Remember our school motto:
